Disclosing the Mysteries of Typography

For my publication class, I decided to design my typography booklet final project with a case dossier theme. I was inspired by noir mysteries, dystopian urbanist sci-fi, and true crime advertising.

The project, unlike a lot of work I do, is heavy on Photoshop and image assets rather than illustration. I used Photoshop for all of my images and InDesign to put the rest of the project together. Alongside the typography information, there is a parallel mystery plot that flows through the book, which itself contains secrets and clues in the design to point you toward the end of the mystery.

Overall I'm proud of my work; while it has its flaws in places, I think it makes up for them with creativity and heart. See if you can figure out the mystery yourself.
